Before launch
- Prize list confirmed and valued at retail value
- Total prize value checked against DIA thresholds
- Ticket price and maximum ticket count set
- Public draw date, time and location set if required
- Proceeds purpose documented
- Committee approval minuted
- Online sales checked against current DIA rules
During sales
- Ticket purchaser details captured where required
- Cash and online payments reconciled
- Unsold tickets tracked
- No changes to prizes after sales start unless legally allowed
Draw and close
- Draw conducted as advertised
- Winners contacted
- Results recorded
- Banking reconciled
- Report completed
